Introducing The Stan. Our modern take on the classic EDC utility knife design from the 1940's. Utilising the magic of magnets, a textured slider and familiar shape body, the Stan is an exceptional EDC utility knife to use and own.

The body is made with brushed grade 5 titanium and our signature hint of brass on the popup lock. This thing will take a beating and keep going.

We designed it so that no tools are needed to maintain the parts or change the blade by utilising just three machined parts and super-strong neodymium magnets.

Made to fit the Stanley 1992 blades, but will fit almost all blades.

We love it so much we made an optional leather Sheath for pocket or belt carry.

Our 3rd Kickstarter

Out of all the knives in the world, the utility knife is one of the most versatile and handy EDC knives of all time. Its 1940's innovation is largely overlooked and deserves legendary status in the knife world in our opinion. This is why we wanted to design our own EDC utility knife that honoured its heritage and add our modern take to it.

It took us 2 years to develop and had more failed attempts that we would care to share. But in the end we got a utility knife we are proud to carry. (It's probably our most carried EDC item.)

We launched it on Kickstarter and it was a instant classic with over 1000% funded in 30 days.

Great knife, shipping less so.

I ordered the knife & sheath to be delivered to London as I was staying there for about 10 days. The knife never arrived, nor did I receive any tracking number, and eventually had to be resent to another address instead after almost 3 weeks.

As for the knife, it’s very well-machined with solid opening & closing actions. The lock up is great, and the sheath, for me, is a must. It makes carrying the knife much easier, either on the belt, or in the pocket. I replaced the blade with a ceramic blade, and it’s razor sharp. Highly recommended, and wish you have a better experience than I did when it comes to shipping.

This utility knife is sleek and has a substantial feel. The elegant, minimalist design works beautifully in the hand, and the knife slips easily into a pocket, tool belt, or pouch. The high level of craftsmanship ensures many years of use.

Great tool indeed.

I received mine on Kickstarter and ended up giving it to my wife as she uses utility knives more than I do. It breaks in with use and gets smoother and the little sheath is burnishing nicely. I will be getting another one for myself when I am next in the UK.

Nicely made doesn’t quite work

So this is a really well made very cool tool. I bought two and have used them for a while now. Great quality great look - However the way my thumb falls when using this tool means that it sits just where the release button is and constantly releases the blade. This means for me in the workshop the design just doesn’t work unfortunately - so 3 stars for look and quality but a design flaw means I can’t really use the tool. Shame, but perhaps a version two would solve this?

Love this knife

WOW the design is fantastic, this looks cool, weight is spot on and feels amazing in the hand, I cant stop fidgeting with the smooth action. Really well thought out design and great size. Amazing product.
