Unknowingly designed product

We love minimalist wallets, but as guys who carry Field Notes we wanted a minimalist leather slip that carries 3 essential things; note pad, a couple of cards and our favourite pen.

We had already designed the Mule Note with excellent feedback on the Field Notes section. We reimagined it as a stand alone leather slip which ticked all the boxes.

What we found was that when designing one product we had unknowingly designed two. Both unique and solved different needs, both excellent in their own right.
