On one side it has a pocket for your note pad, pen slot in the spine and on the other side it has our innovative rivet system which allows you to customise the tool pocket, ensuring your tools fit snugly.

Crafted from thick Italian veg tan leather, this one-of-a-kind item will last for decades.

Complete with 6 rivets and maintenance tool.

Balance of form and function

The Mule Note followed the success of the Mule Book. With its innovative modular rivet system, we wanted to expand the Mule range and make a journal-focused product that could hold your Field Notes, pens, rulers and other EDC tools.

As with all concepts, it's the balance of form and function. Leather can be a really fun material to explore options until we reach something we love to carry ourselves.

Very very nice item! Quality leather with that amazing and crisp saddle smell. Stiff at first but just speaks to the quality leather used!

Great item, well made with exact specification. It’s quite the tight fit for the field notes but hoping in time it loosen just a tad. Cannot fault the craftsmanship that went into it and it’s perfect for the back pocket. Excellent item!
