the story

Inspired by vintage a brass protractor

After the huge success of the Crichton Measuring coin we asked the question, how do we enable more creativity in the form of a coin? Inspired by vintage 360 degree brass protractors we reimagined what it would look like in the coin form. Several drawings and prototypes later we were confident on this design which has a vintage nautical look about it.

The Protractor Coin is named after our leatherworker, whose struggles with angles are, shall we say, not his strong point.
